|
T-wave Alternans (TWA) refers to an alternating pattern in the T-wave portion of the surface electrocardiogram (ECG). Cambridge Heart’s proprietary Analytic Spectral Method® is able to detect subtle, microvolt-level T-wave alternans (MTWA) not visible to the human eye. The clinical efficacy of MTWA as a marker for arrhythmic death has been demonstrated through several prospective studies. MTWA can be measured during a low-level exercise stress test, a pharmacologic stress test, or via pacing using proprietary high-resolution sensors to detect subtle changes in the ECG. |

Microvolt T-Wave Alternans is a non-invasive, clinically-proven, reimbursable test that can help identify patients at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
